By Pat Olson February 15, 2012, 6:52 pmDons Playing Well: With double digit wins over Santa Clara and San Diego this past weekend the Dons appear to be hitting their stride with the challenging three-game home stand approaching. The Dons have won seven of their last nine games and five out of six as they get set to host BYU, Gonzaga and St. Mary’s. Perris Blackwell has been a beast inside averaging 18 points per game over the past five contests hitting 35-55 from the floor (61%) over that span. Point guard Cody Doolin was tremendous this past weekend in the victories over the Broncos and Toreros, scoring 30 points while dishing out 16 assists with only two turnovers.
Cole Dickerson has provided tremendous spark off the bench. In the 81-70 road win at San Diego he poured in a career high 15 points in 21 minutes on 6-8 from the floor.
